General School Description: 

We have many programs which provide a strong academic focus and learning opportunities for all students.  Parent involvement, committed staff, enthusiastic students and a strong volunteer program contribute to the warm, caring atmosphere of our school.  Families have the opportunity to utilize the before- and after- school childcare services provided each day by the London Children's Connection.   Please contact the school for information regarding this program.

Co-instructional Activities:

Sports Activities: Co-ed Soccer, Cross Country, Boys' and Girls' Volleyball and Basketball teams,Co-ed Intermediate Floor Hockey, Track and Field, Playday Activities.

Measures of Student Achievement and Success:  

At Thames Valley, we believe that assessment and evaluation of student achievement are integral parts of the learning process. Information gathered through assessment and evaluation helps teachers to determine students' strengths and weaknesses in their achievement of the curriculum expectations. It also serves to guide teachers in adapting curriculum and instructional approaches to students' needs and in assessing the overall effectiveness of programs and classroom practices. A variety of methods are used to gauge student progress including: teacher observation, classroom tests, projects and other examples of student work.
